Privacy policy
As of 18 September 2026
1. Scope and controller
This policy applies to the website privadi.de. It describes which personal data are processed when you visit it, for what purpose and for how long.
This is a translation for your convenience. In case of doubt, the German version is legally binding.
The controller is: Privadi, Martin Schröder Ernst-Kromayer-Straße 28 06112 Halle (Saale) Deutschland Phone: +49 177 480 90 10 Email: info@privadi.net
A data protection officer has not been appointed; the legal requirements for such an appointment are not met.
2. Server and accessing the pages
privadi.de is a static website: the server only delivers finished pages. There is no contact form, no account and no sign-in.
The site runs on a server operated by STRATO AG, Pascalstraße 10, 10587 Berlin, in a data centre in Germany. STRATO processes the data exclusively on our behalf on the basis of a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR.
When you access a page, your browser transmits technically necessary data to the server: IP address, date and time, the address requested, the volume of data transferred, a message about whether the request succeeded, the page you came from, and details of your browser and operating system.
These data are required for the page to be delivered and serve the security of operations. Without them the page cannot be displayed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is the stable and secure operation of the website.
The server logs are deleted after seven days at the latest.
3. Visitor counting without cookies
privadi.de sets no cookies. No third-party services for analytics, audience measurement or advertising, such as Google Analytics, are used.
We count ourselves how often visitors arrive at privadi.de. Only the page on which a visit begins is counted, not every further click. We store only the date, the page accessed and, if available, the page you came from.
We additionally store the visitor’s country, that is only the country code such as “DE”. It is determined from the IP address when the page is opened, on our own server, using a country list held there. The IP address itself is neither stored nor passed on, and no third-party service is asked. A country allows no conclusion about a person or a place. The country list comes from DB-IP (IP Geolocation by DB-IP, https://db-ip.com, licence CC BY 4.0).
We do not store: IP addresses, identifiers of any kind, cookies or other features that would allow a visitor to be recognised again. Nothing is stored on or read from your device.
Technically this count is kept by PrivadiOffice at office.privadi.de, which is operated by the same controller (item 1) and runs on the same server at STRATO. Your browser reports the visit there and in the process transmits the technical data listed in item 2, including your IP address, to office.privadi.de. There they are recorded in the server log, which is deleted after 15 days at the latest. The figures for privadi.de are held in PrivadiOffice together with those of our other websites so that they can be evaluated side by side.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is to understand how privadi.de is found and used.
Fonts and program components, including the animation library GSAP, are hosted on our own server. Nothing is loaded from Google Fonts or any other font provider.
We do not make automated decisions and do not carry out profiling.
4. Newsletter
At the bottom of every page you can enter your email address to receive occasional news from us.
After you enter it we first send you an email with a confirmation link. Only once you click that link are you signed up; without that click we send you nothing. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
We store your email address, a name if you give one, the language, which of our websites the sign-up came from, and the times of entry, confirmation, last message and unsubscription. We also store a check value of the confirmation link, which expires after 24 hours, and a permanent key for your unsubscribe link.
Every message states at the bottom why it was sent and carries an unsubscribe link. One click is enough — no login and no further questions. This withdraws your consent for the future at any time.
After you unsubscribe we do not delete your address immediately but keep it marked as unsubscribed. This is the only way to prevent it from being added back to the list by mistake when we later reconcile our addresses. On request we delete it completely.
Technically the messages are sent by PrivadiOffice at office.privadi.de, which is operated by the same controller (item 1), through our own mailbox. No third-party newsletter service is involved.
5. Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
Clicking our phone number or email address only opens the phone or email app on your device. Nothing is transmitted to us in the process.
If you call or write to us, we process your details – such as name, phone number, email address and the content of your message – in order to deal with your request. Emails are stored in our mailbox with our email provider.
At the top of every page you can also message us on WhatsApp. This is a simple link: nothing is transmitted to WhatsApp when you visit privadi.de. Only when you click does WhatsApp open in your browser or in the app, and in the process your browser transmits the technical data listed in item 2, including your IP address, to WhatsApp.
If you message us on WhatsApp, WhatsApp processes your phone number, your profile name and the messages. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, D04 X2K5, Ireland. According to WhatsApp, messages are end-to-end encrypted. Data may also be transferred to WhatsApp LLC and Meta Platforms, Inc. in the USA. According to their own information, both are certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework; WhatsApp additionally uses the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. What further data WhatsApp processes is beyond our control. Details can be found in WhatsApp’s privacy policy: https://www.whatsapp.com/legal/privacy-policy-eea
Using WhatsApp is voluntary. You can reach us just as well by phone or email.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request concerns an order or its preparation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is answering your request.
We delete your details once your request has been dealt with and no statutory retention period applies.
6. Cleaning calculator
The cleaning calculator is embedded on the “Services” page. It is loaded from meine-reinigungsfirma.de when the page is displayed, without a separate click. This is the matching portal “Reinigungszentrale”, which is also operated by us (item 1) and runs on the same server at STRATO.
In the process your browser transmits the technical data listed in item 2, including your IP address, to meine-reinigungsfirma.de. The data are not passed to any third-party provider.
The portal counts the access as described in its privacy policy: it stores the date, the page accessed, the page the access came from and the country code. The IP address is not stored for this purpose, and nothing is stored on or read from your device.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is being able to offer the cleaning calculator on this page.
If you use further functions in the calculator, such as a request or feedback on the prices, the privacy policy of meine-reinigungsfirma.de applies: https://meine-reinigungsfirma.de/datenschutz
7. News
On the “News” page we show previews of articles. The list of articles and the preview images come from our own server office.privadi.de (PrivadiOffice, also operated by us, item 1). Your browser retrieves them from there as soon as you open the “News” page.
In the process your browser transmits the technical data listed in item 2, including your IP address, to office.privadi.de. This server also runs at STRATO (item 2). The data are not passed to any third-party provider. The server logs there are deleted after 15 days at the latest.
Our server fetches the preview images itself from the site on which the article was published and passes them on. Your browser does not connect to that site; its provider does not receive your IP address. Nothing is stored on or read from your device in the process.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest is being able to show current articles on this page.
The articles themselves are on another website (currently www.privadi.net, run with the website builder SITE123). Only when you click an article does it open in a new window, and only then are data transmitted to its provider. Its privacy policy applies there.
8. YouTube videos
On some pages we show videos from YouTube. They are only loaded when you click on the video. Before that, no connection to YouTube is established.
When you click, the video is loaded via youtube-nocookie.com. Your IP address, technical details of your browser and the information which video you are requesting are transmitted to Google. What further data Google collects, and whether Google stores or reads information on your device, is beyond our control.
The provider is Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. Data may also be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. According to its own information, Google LLC is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and additionally bases transfers on the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
The legal basis is your consent, which you give by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Consent is voluntary; without it you can use all other content as before. You can withdraw it at any time with effect for the future by not starting any further video. Withdrawal does not retrieve data already transmitted.
Details can be found in Google’s privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
9. Links to social networks and other sites
We link to our profiles on YouTube, Instagram and LinkedIn. These are simple links, not embedded buttons: no data are transmitted to these networks when you visit privadi.de.
Only when you click a link does the respective provider’s page open, and its privacy policy applies there. The same applies to links to other websites.
10. Recipients
We do not sell data and do not pass it on for advertising purposes.
Recipients are our server provider STRATO (item 2), the provider of our email mailbox if you write to us (item 5), WhatsApp if you message us there (item 5), and Google if you start a video (item 8). Beyond this, we only pass on data where we are legally obliged to do so.
11. Your rights
Under the General Data Protection Regulation you have the right of access to the data stored about you (Art. 15), rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18) and data portability (Art. 20).
You have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 21). You can withdraw consent you have given at any time with effect for the future (Art. 7(3)).
For all of these matters a message to info@privadi.net is sufficient.
You may also lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is the Landesbeauftragte für den Datenschutz Sachsen-Anhalt, Otto-von-Guericke-Straße 34a, 39104 Magdeburg.
12. Changes to this policy
If something on this website changes that affects the handling of data, we adjust this policy at the same time and move the date forward.
